It is always good to get away…but it is great to get home!!
We had a wonderful family vacation …we were able to get all seven of us together which was pretty special!!
I am still recovering from jet lag, so if I slur or misspell a few words …its not auto correct…it’s the computer operator! (and Jeannine always checks:)
We are so looking forward to this Sunday. As I already shared, its great to be away, but I always look forward to coming home. We have missed the ACC family over the past three weeks and we are so excited to see everyone. This Sunday is also special because after church everyone is invited to head up to Cultus Lake where we have a picnic (bring your own food), some boats for water skiing (thank you Lode’s and Dunn’s) …plus we will be having a water baptism!! I love it when followers of Jesus make a public confession and declaration of their faith in Jesus Christ. It never gets old when I see people getting baptized! Come and witness those that are following Christ publically.
This Sunday I want to start a brand new summer series called FOCUS. I know that during the summer we use words like ‘chill, laid-back, off the clock” … which is good. We all need ‘down time’. However, as many of us know…we never take a vacation from our faith (whether we are working or holidaying). Our faith is to remain constant and in fact, summer is a good time to grow our faith and re-assess and recalibrate our lives around what really is important.

The yellow/green room will be studying Peter and the centurion Cornelius teaching your little ones that God has a special place for them in His church! the Red room will start studying about Jesus’ love for them and the world.
Middle School
We will be meeting outside if the weather is good, if it is raining we will be meeting in the hallway downstairs. A few of our youth will be getting baptised in Cultas Lake after church on Sunday so we would like to discuss baptism and what it means to be baptised. Come for fun, games and great discussion!
Middle/High School Youth Events
Our next event is 5 pin bowling at Galaxy Bowl, on Wednesday, August 3rd. Drop off is at 7pm and pick up is at 9pm. Come for a fun filled night of bowling THERE WILL BE PRIZES FOR BEST BOWLERS!!!
