Hi everyone,
Looking back at our ACC Canada Day last week I am so thankful that we live in an incredible, free country. I am just as proud of all our ACC people…you are just simply, the best. We had such a great time celebrating our country’s 150th birthday..and we are so blessed by all of the help of our staff, summer interns and ACC folk …that really made it a special day. Thank you from my heart!!
This Sunday our ACC 13 Days of Summer continues and it is Ice Cream Sundaes after church!! You might be wondering who comes up with all these special event ideas…we have a staff/ summer interns that like to have fun and like to eat. They are my kind of people!! We love ice cream!!
We want to continue our message series this Sunday on the Ten Commandments called “Modern Families”. We believe that the ten commandments aren’t archaic, boring or irrelevant….but helpful, life-giving and transformational. This week we look at the 7th commandment….the title of the message is “How strong is your marriage?” What do you believe that God intended marriage to look like, be like and how should it function? This Sunday we are going to look at some biblical, marriage building principles.
This Sunday is also Communion Sunday..always a special time!!

Kidzone is excited to announce their Summer Fun Days for this summer! July 19th from 9-12. Drop your kids off at CBC’s chapel for some games, snacks, stories, and crafts. Please email Allie for registration form (avdky@hotmail.ca). We will be meeting at Mill Lake’s splash pad on July 12th from 9-12 pending weather. We will also be having two date nights this summer. Join us Sunday mornings during the preaching hour in the “orange room” with Jadon, as we go through the book of Matthew in the “In the Footsteps of Jesus” series.
