Hi everyone,
It’s finally here!! Yup, its ACC’s 13 Days of Summer 2017!! We have some exciting plans and services over the next 13 weeks. In fact, our staff and summer interns are a pretty creative and a very exciting bunch. They rock!! This weekend starts with a summer filled with action-packed events, activities and generally a whole lot of fun. This Sunday at ACC we are celebrating “National Donut Day!! ” I’m sure that most of us had no idea that there was even a national day for the donut dessert, but I’m sure your pretty excited we are celebrating right?!?
We will have the best Tim Horton donuts this Sunday along with great coffee, plus our time of worship and praise as we gather together. In fact, Sarah Thompson is leading worship this Sunday. Sarah is Jadon’s fiancé and both are doing such a great job with our Middle School and High School…they are such a phenomenal couple. In fact, the ACC ladies are invited to Sarah’s wedding shower this Sunday at 1pm at our home.
I will be continuing our series called “Modern Family” based on the Ten Commandments, as we look at the 4th Commandment. I’ve titled the message “Work..Work..Work”. What does the Bible have to say about taking the Sabbath day off? What is a Sabbath? How is it to be holy? These questions and others will all be looked at.
Finally, we are so excited that over $1100 dollars was raised last week for our Summer Mexico Team!! Thank you for your support. Remember that if you have any clothes, books or small household items you are looking to get rid of, our Mexico Team can take them to Value Village and receive cash towards the Missions trip. Bring them to the church this Sunday.
Again, its the kick off to 13 Days of Summer…it’s National Donut Day!!

The green and red room are still working our way through each perspective bible. The Yellow room finished their study on Joshua and has moved on to their summer series about choices using examples from the bible to help the kids make every day choices for God.
We are hard at work planning exciting summer events for Kidzone. Stay tuned for more detail in the coming weeks.
HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH
Youth meets Sunday evenings from 7:00-9:00, at CBC classroom 109. Join us to sweat, sing, study and snack!
MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH
Join us Sunday mornings during the preaching hour in the “orange room” with Jadon, as we go through the book of Matthew in the “In the Footsteps of Jesus” series.
