ACC May 14, 2017

IMG_3578Hi everyone,

I am sure that we could not have fit in any more excitement into church last Sunday…it was packed and it was awesome!!
We got to pray for the Fiji Building Team, have communion together, hear about sponsoring the Philippines Pastors school, celebrated the Huismans 50th wedding anniversary, start a brand new sermon series and, oh yes..Souper Sunday. Wow!!

This Sunday we are celebrating the ladies of Alderbrook…yes, it’s Mothers Day and we want to honor and give thanks for all the moms, grandmothers…in fact all the ACC ladies. We appreciate you and value who you are and what you do so much!!. We have a special gift for all the ladies plus I have asked my bride, Cheryl to speak this Sunday. I am always amazed at the incredible insights and truths that she brings from God’s Word. She is without a doubt, my favorite speaker to listen to….because she listens to God.

We hope that your week was good.
See you on Sunday,

Pastor Glenn and Cheryl

MISSIONS UPDATE:

donate-unwanted-itemsWe are having a clothing drive mainly (toys and small household items are welcome too) any size, colour shape– kids to adults including shoes for the July Casa de Luz Missions trip. Value village is paying us by the pound to donate. Items can be brought to church to go to the Hutchinsons garage until or on May 28.

Our lunch and silent auction will be on May 28. We will be transferring all our items to value village and are looking for anyone to help with a mini van and truck on May 28 from 3-5 pm. Please let Glenn know if you are able to help.

We will be fundraising for soccer camp VBS supplies for the kids and hopefully open it up to the church/community if we raise enough money.

Thank you for your support!
