Its our third week of the 13 Days of Summer here at Alderbrook Church and we are celebrating all of the guys..’cause it’s Fathers Day!!
We have a special gift for all of the guys at church this Sunday, plus it’s also Root Beer Ice Cream Floats! Yeah!!

This Sunday I want to continue our series on the Ten Commandments as we look at the fifth one that tells us to “honor our parents”.
Have you ever thought about it? Right after the first four commands where God reminds us to honor Him, to not make any false idols and to honor His name…that He commands us to honor our Dad and Mom.
Raising kids today is not an easy task, and in fact I believe it is one of the toughest jobs around. I also believe that, if done right, it is one of the most rewarding experiences in life. But what does it mean to honor our parents? Whether you are five years old (and reading this), or if you are in your fifties (and your parents are alive)..what does this commandment mean? We also want to look at how to honor our parents, even if they haven’t been that ‘honorable’?
The coffee and bagels are on..as well as the Root Beer Floats are ready…as we honor the guys of ACC this weekend!!
There will also be a Fathers Photo Booth too.
