Wasn’t it an awesome Sunday last week?
In case you missed out, we celebrated and honoured all of our ministry leaders and participants in church last Sunday.
We sometimes make the mistake by referring to these incredible people as ” volunteers” , which we apologize, because any work, ministry or task done for God is so valuable and worthy. In fact, I was just re-reading the portions of the Bible in 1 Corinthians chapters 12 & 14, that outline how the church ( the body of Christ ) is to function and minister. I am so thankful for all the ACC people that are using their ministry gifts. May God continue to use you….
Also, a big shout out to Dave and Linda Dunn for putting on the lunch…it was fantastic.
This Sunday is Fathers Day at ACC…Gregg and the team will be leading us in music and worship, we have a couple of crazy ( yet truthful ) videos about dads and fathers!! Even though we love poking fun at dads, we honor, uplift and pray Gods blessing, anointing and power over all the men at ACC…I will be bringing a message that will remind dads ( and everyone else) of our high calling and the privilege that God has given each one of us to affect people around us.
Mark your calendars, starting next week for a brand new series called “The Last Days…Are We There Yet?” There have been some unique things happening globally that we want to look and see what the Bible has to say about the last days. Remember, we are told to watch, to wait..and get ready for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. It should be the day that we long to see as we continue Gods mission and purpose here on earth.

This Sunday is Father’s Day in Kidzone we will be celebrating Fathers. Kids will learn how to honour their father and the will be hear about the best dad of all: God! Jesus was the only child to ever perfectly obey this father. That is why Jesus can forgive our sins. “Honour your father and mother” Exodus 20:12
