Hello everyone,
The Alderbrook Enotes are coming from Casa De Luz, Mexico where a team from the church have been participating on a missions trip all week.
We have enjoyed the trip and been very busy in various activities. The building team has participated in different jobs around the orphanage, but they have also been rebuilding a home for a lady in the church. Just before we arrived, a propane tank blew the roof off her house and creating a fire. We have been tearing down the existing structure in preparation to rebuild her home. The other team members have been teaching the children at the orphanage, involved in the feeding program up in Tijuana and helping the Casa De Luz staff wherever we can. Walt and Sarah and the team are all doing such a phenomenal job.
This Sunday at Alderbrook, we are blessed to have the youth band from Mountain Park Church. I am also excited to let you know that Cheryl will be preaching this Sunday. When Cheryl gets prepared to speak, she spends so much time just waiting on God and letting Him speak through her….you will not want to miss out.
Lastly, thank you so much for your prayers and support for the Mexico team. We are so blessed to have a church that lifts us up in pray while we are away. The team arrives back into Abbotsford on Sunday night…and we will have some exciting things to share next Sunday.
Blessings,
Pastor Glenn ( in Mexico)
p.s. If you want to go serve in Mexico in July please be sure to talk to Jeannine or Clay! 🙂
