Did everyone survive the ‘Spring Forward’ weekend? I know that the evenings sure are nice. If you are still sleep deprived, just remember that we are ready to start Spring Break!! Some of you with school-age children are questioning what type of a break that really is??!! Regardless…enjoy!!
I hope that you are praying for our two mission teams that are literally on other sides of the world. We have a team in the Fiji Island s that are constructing a church and a second team that has just arrived in the nation of India. Would you continue to pray for our ACC teams that God will give them strength, safety …and most of all, great anointing for ministry and service. I can hardly wait to hear of some of the reports when they get back!!
This Sunday at Alderbrook I want to continue our series titled, ‘Who Is My Neighbour?’ Over the past few weeks we have been looking at the words of Jesus as he commanded us to see people differently and to ‘love one another’.In part three this weekend, we want to look at what our participation (and responsibility) is in our neighbourhood. We know that Jesus told his disciples to go into all the world to share His incredible message of love and forgiveness…but what about Abbotsford?
It is so awesome that we have mission teams in India and Fiji..and a team that went to Mexico, and another in July….but what about East Abbotsford? West Abbotsford? Matsqui? The city of Mission? This Sunday we are going to look at what the Bible tells each one of us needs to do in “our neighbourhood”!!
Finally, in a few weeks we will be celebrating Palm Sunday and Easter at Alderbrook. These services and gatherings are always very meaningful and significant as we remember the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. If you haven’t been baptized in water as a testimony of following Jesus, why not consider getting baptized on Easter at Alderbrook?
See you on Sunday,
Pastor Glenn and Cheryl

This Sunday, Jesus is in Jerusalem and we see that Jesus’ love leads to service!“Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.” PHILIPPIANS 2:4
