Hi everyone,
It was such a privilege last week to hear from those that just returned on Missions trips from Africa, Haiti and Singapore. Thank you Chris, Samantha and Michelle for letting God use you in those countries and for encouraging and challenging us as a church. Again, there are two more ACC Missions trips coming up; our son Derek is leading a trip to Fiji in May (church construction) and then Clay and Jeannine (Casa De Luz) are heading to Mexico in July. If you are interested in going, please connect with these people.
This Sunday we want to finish up our series on the book of 1 Peter. I hope that you have been enjoying it and learning lots. This week we are going to look at how Peter describes ‘living the dynamic life’ that God has invited us to share in.
Next week is Palm Sunday (April 9th) and we will also be having communion together….always a special time. Sunday April 16th is Easter Sunday, again, always a highlight at ACC. Jesus Christ is Risen..He is risen indeed !! If you are interested in water baptism on Easter Sunday, please sign up on a Connection Card or if you want your baby/child dedicated, please do the same. We will also be having a Chocolate Egg Hunt for the kids..lots of exciting things happening at ACC.

The Green room is busy reading their way through the bible! Learning all about the key people in the bible and how to apply the lessons to their every day. The Yellow room is studying Joshua and memorizing some bible verses. The Red room kids are working their way through the Adventure Bible Devotion. They are learning all about the key people in the bible and how to apply the lessons to their life every day.
We are looking to put together a group to sort food at the Abbotsford food bank as a way we can serve and give back in our community. We hope to go Saturday April 1, from 10am-12pm. Please email Allie if you are interested (avdky@hotmail.ca).
We are starting to gear up for Easter and are looking for the wrapped chocolate eggs, if anyone has any they’d be willing to donate to bring them to the check in booth or myself on a Sunday morning.

The July Casa de Luz team is collecting used clothes, books and household items. We will be donating them to Value Village which will give us money by the pound for our missions trip. Please bring your items to church (or contact Jeannine for pick up info@customphoto.ca) in April and May. Final day for items will be at our Mexico Fundraising Luncheon and Silent Auction on May 28.
