Hello everyone,
This Sunday we continue our series titled, “True Freedom”. God says that whoever the Son (Jesus) sets free, is free indeed. The Bible says that we can know the truth and the truth will set us free. Is it possible? Are we able to live our lives above the things that drag us down or keep us in bondage? This Sunday we will be looking at the topic of “True Freedom… Not Allowing Foolishness to Become Sin”. Gregg will be leading the music/worship this Sunday. The coffee will be on as well.
During Spring Break two of our students are heading out on Missions Teams from MEI. Soma is in Rwanda and Hudson is in Mexico (Casa De Luz). Please remember to pray for these two awesome young men and we are excited to hear all about their trips when they return.
Remember that this Sunday, March 9th is Daylight Savings. Clocks go forward one hour, which means that we lose an hour of sleep, but we gain extra ‘light’ at the end of the day. Spring is on its way!

Mark your calendars for Sunday, March 30th when we will be having our next Souper Sunday lunch. Sign up on a clipboard on Sunday or email the church to let us know what you will bring (accparticipate@gmail.com). It’s a great way to connect and to get to know the church family better!!
Our annual Good Friday Hike will be at Heritage Park in Mission on April 18th! We will meet at 8:30 am and start the hike around 8:45 am to give people time to show up. A short devotional/sermon will take place at the top, and after we return, we’re going to hang out at Tim Hortons.
In Kidzone for the past few weeks we’ve been going through a series called Live in the Light. It calls children to follow Jesus and walk in His light by using the metaphor of God as light in the Bible, which can help us to see the path of truth clearly.
On Sunday, April 20th following the service we will be having an Easter egg hunt! If the weather is nice, the event will be outside in the courtyard, and all kids are invited to participate.

This Friday at CBC, we have a special guest speaker, Nolan, joining us to share an inspiring message with our youth, and we will also have worship time and fun games and activities.
Please note that this event is for youth aged 10+. We can’t wait to see you all there!
