Hello everyone,
On March 30th, we will be having our Souper Sunday lunch. Stay after church and enjoy a great meal, no clean up!! It’s also a great way to connect and to get to know the church family better!
This Sunday, we continue our series titled “True Freedom”. God says that whoever the Son (Jesus) sets free is free indeed. The Bible says that we can know the truth and the truth will set us free. Is it possible? Are we able to live our lives above the things that drag us down or keep us in bondage? This Sunday we will be looking at the topic of “Fatal Distractions”. Gregg will be leading the music/worship this Sunday. The coffee will be on as well.
Join the Alderbrook Zoom Prayer time every Wednesday night from 7:30 pm – 8 pm as we gather together (through Zoom) to pray for our church, our community, and one another! It’s 30 minutes together as we pray, asking God to meet various needs and requests.
During Spring Break, two of our students are heading out on Missions Teams from MEI. Soma is in Rwanda, and Hudson is in Mexico (Casa De Luz). Please remember to pray for these two awesome young men, and we are excited to hear all about their trips when they return.

Upcoming Special Dates
Our annual Good Friday Hike will be at Heritage Park in Mission on April 18th! We will meet at 8:30 am and start the hike around 8:45 am to give people time to show up. A short devotional/sermon will take place at the top, and after we return, we’re going to hang out at Tim Hortons.
In Kidzone for the past few weeks we’ve been going through a series called Live in the Light. It calls children to follow Jesus and walk in His light by using the metaphor of God as light in the Bible, which can help us to see the path of truth clearly.
On Sunday, April 20th following the service we will be having an Easter egg hunt! If the weather is nice, the event will be outside in the courtyard, and all kids are invited to participate.
