Hi everyone,
How ever do you explain April 1st, (also known as April Fool’s) as well as Easter Sunday on the same day?
1. You could wrap grapes in chocolate egg wrappers.
2. You could dye and ‘uncooked’ Easter eggs.
3. How about putting jelly beans in the fridge ice dispenser.
4. Why not dip vegetables in chocolate.
5. Replace the hollow bunny ‘insides’ with mustard rather than yellow creme.
(My wife is rolling her eyes at me right now!!)
OR…you can head on over to Alderbrook for a great Easter Sunday..and we aren’t fooling!! This Sunday, Gregg and the team will be leading the music/worship as we proclaim the fact that Jesus rose from the dead!! We will also have most of the people that went on a Missions trip back at ACC. Thanks for praying!!
Plus, we will be having a Chocolate Egg Hunt for the kids. (I’m sure that you’re reading my list above again, right??) The highlight of Sunday will be the outside Water Baptism service as we will have as a number of people who will be publicly sharing their faith story and testimony in Jesus Christ. Come and be inspired as we remember that “Jesus Christ is Risen…He is Risen Indeed!!”

April 1 – Young Men’s Breakfast. This Sunday Jadon will be at the church at 8:30am, and then will head over to McDonalds for a quick bible study / devo before the service begins. All men Grades 10+ welcome to join! Meet at CBC at 8:30am!
April 1 – No Youth! Enjoy the Easter break 🙂
April 8 – Combined Youth Night! Going to continuing the Alpha Youth series, which is very exciting 🙂 We are looking forward to having fun and learning more about Jesus. Meeting at CBC, 6:30-8:30pm.
April 15 – Middle School Youth! During the service, Grades 6-8. Finishing the series The Bee Squad!
April15 – Practricum Students Goodbye Party! We are going to say a sad farewell to our amazing interns Scott, Andrew, Francesca, Sam, and Megan! Going to continuing the Alpha Youth series, which is very exciting, and ice cream cake! Meeting at CBC, 6:30-8:30pm.
