Hi everyone,
Happy BC holiday weekend!! Are you surviving the heat? We first went through ‘snow-maggedon’, then the monsoon rain season and now the intense heat. I guess one could say that our weather patterns have been pretty unique!?!
We want to congratulate Jadon Ward and Sarah Thompson, our youth directors as they tie the marriage knot this weekends in Kelowna. Cheryl and I will be attending the wedding and then spending a little rest and relaxation time in the Okanagan. We are so thankful for Jadon and Sarah… and we pray God’s blessing over them as they get married this weekend.
This Sunday at ACC we continue the 13 Days of Summer. It’s TIE DAY at Alderbrook. Do you remember a long, long time ago when everyone (well at least the guys) wore a tie to church? Why not grab that old tie (the uglier the better..haha) and show it off this Sunday.
On a serious note, David Rathjen will be sharing this Sunday. David is such an excellent Bible teacher and loves communicating the truths of God’s Word. You will be stirred, challenged and motivated as you hear him speak on Sunday.
Again, stay out of the sun, and drink lots of water.

Kidzone had so much fun during our summer fun days in July. We were having so much fun we didn’t want it to stop. So we’ll be having two date nights August 5th and 19th. At CBC in the chapel from 5:30-8pm. As well as an outdoor family movie night August 25th at 8pm at CBC.
