ACC @CBC November 16, 2014

casa de luzHello everyone,

Wasn’t the weather great this week? A little on the cool side, but the sunny weather was awesome!!

This Sunday at Alderbrook we have an exciting service in store. It’s Missions Sunday and it is jam-packed with updates, opportunities and stories of what God is doing through our church.

Let me start off by mentioning that the Mexico Team (Casa De Luz in February) will be proving a scrumptious Mexican meal for everyone at ACC. The lunch is by donation and all the money raised will be going to the building project at the orphanage. You will hear some great stories and be challenged by the ministry of Casa De Luz.

We will also be hearing about two more missions trips that are available early in 2015. First of all, there is a trip to Fiji with Dave and Phyllis to build a church during Spring Break. Also, David is leading a trip to India which you will hear about. Then in July 2015, Jeannine and Clay will be taking a second team back down to Casa De Luz in Mexico. Excited yet? We will also be praying for Kris this Sunday as he will be in the Philippines doing ministry and outreach. I am so excited for the vision for Missions we have at ACC.

This Sunday Cal and Chrissy will be leading the music, singing and worship. I want to continue the series we started last week, LIFE: Mysterious or Miraculous as we look at the topic of a ” Firsthand Miracle”.

It’s going to be a great Sunday…plus it’s Name Tag Sunday…so you get to connect with people and attach a name to a face.
See you this Sunday.
