Hi everyone,

I love parties…and I really love church…..so when the church is having a party I get pretty excited and pumped!!
This Sunday is our Fall Kick Off at Alderbrook Church. We have a lot of great things happening so let me tell you all about it. It’s Name Tag Sunday…so we get a little help and assistance in remembering everyone’s name. Use whatever name you want…lol. Our music/ worship team will be kicking things off at 10am. Isn’t it awesome to have a music team that sings so passionately and enthusiastically about Jesus? I appreciate the time that we have every Sunday just to worship God through song and music.
During our morning service, we will be introducing all of the CBC students that are doing their service practicum at ACC this year. We have been blessed (again) with some incredible students that really have a desire to come and serve. We want to bless them this Sunday.
This week I want to start a new series called, ” Everyone Has A Story”. Do you know that everyone has a significant and important life story to tell? We all need to remember that God wants to use our story to tell others, but to bring attention to the great God that he is. You will be surprised and challenged to hear how powerful your story can be!!
Right after church, we are heading outside where there will be jumphouses and cotton candy for the kids, tug o war for the youth and adults and a scrumptious BBQ for everyone. Make sure you remember to bring your side dish or dessert…it’s going to be a great party.
Lastly, and most importantly we are going to have a baptismal service outside too. If you haven’t been baptized in water, why not email the church office today (info@alderbrookchurch.com). You will never regret your decision.
It’s an action packed Sunday. Why not invite a family member, friend or neighbour.
See you on Sunday,
Pastor Glenn and Cheryl
