Hi everyone,
If there ever was a ‘middle of the summer’ this has got to be it!!
The great weather continues and people have been coming and going on vacation…its a great time of the year, right?
This is also the week that we’ve had a team from ACC in Mexico, ministering at Casa De Luz. Jeannine and Clay are doing a great job giving leadership to the team (along with Allie, our Kidzone Director) ….we have been praying daily that God will work through them as they share the love of Jesus. We can hardly wait to hear all about it. We also have another ACC Missions Team heading out in a few weeks…this time to the country of Cuba. This Sunday we will be praying for some of our youth, Rebecca, Marley, Cassidy and Allie as they prepare for this missions trip to Cuba.
This Sunday at ACC is going to be good. First of all we have a great service planned as the coffee and bagels will be out. I will be finishing our series on the Ten Commandments called Modern Family. I hope and trust that this series has helped every individual as well as every family.
We are into Day #9 of our 13 Days of Summer. Right after church we are heading out to Hayward Lake (in Mission) to have a picnic and to baptize anyone that wants to follow the Lord in the waters of baptism. If you have never been baptized, why not make this Sunday your public step of declaration in following Jesus? There will be direction in the bulletin, so just pack a lunch and lets enjoy time together at the lake.

July 30 Learning to Be Content
Kidzone had so much fun during our summer fun days in July. We were having so much fun we didn’t want it to stop. So we’ll be having two date nights August 5th and 19th. At CBC in the chapel from 5:30-8pm

Youth meets Sunday evenings from 7:00-9:00, at CBC classroom 109. Join us to sweat, sing, study and snack! Also, join us for some of our fun “Summer Nights” Events!
