Hasn’t it been a beautiful, sunny week?
I love this time of season especially when the sun is shining through. Plus it’s football season, hockey season, baseball season and soon-to-be basketball season. Oh yes, It is our wedding anniversary too! (can’t forget that…LOL)
I want to thank everyone for participating in one of the Vision Dessert Nights that we had during the month of September.
It was great to sit and have coffee/dessert and talk about Alderbrook Church.
I also want to thank all of those who brought food for last week’s Souper Sunday…what a feast!!
This Sunday Andrew will be leading the music/singing/worship. Make sure you arrive with your heart (and your vocal chords) ready to worship God. Those 20-25 minutes at the start of the service are so important…because God loves to dwell/inhabit in the praise of his people (Psalm 22:3).
This Sunday we want to finish off our sermon series titled, REVEALED. I hope that you have enjoyed the series as we’ve looked at various people in the Old Testament and their lives of faith. This Sunday we are looking at Joshua and the ‘Danger of Presumption’.
Remember this Sunday night is our AGM from 6:30pm-7:30pm. Coffee and donuts will be available.
Make sure you sign up for a Fall Lifegroup….. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people and grow together in God.
See you Sunday,
Pastor Glenn and Cheryl

This Sunday at Kidzone
This week in Kidzone we introduced a new event called “Sunday Funday!” The last Sunday of every month we combine all the classrooms into one and have a worship time, as well as a Kidzone-wide game and lesson and ending off with a movie and a snack. We are so excited to bring in new activities to Kidzone! This week’s verse was Proverbs 16:24 – “Kind words are like honey, sweet for the soul and healthy for the body.”
