Hello everyone,
I think it’s safe to say that we are all done with winter for this year…although I’m not saying it with a lot of certainty!!
I’m ready for the Spring…let’s get the flowers budding, the grass growing and the outdoor activities happening!!
This Sunday, Gregg will be leading our music/singing. Lets remember that our worship isn’t confined just to singing. That’s why I always talk about our ‘music and singing’ which certainly can produce worship, but our worship to God is not limited to just singing..and especially, just singing at Alderbrook at 10am on Sundays!!
Again, one of my favourite all-time books is Brother Lawrence’s ‘The Practice of the Presence of God”, where he identifies that whether he was tending his garden (that God provided) or performing his duties (as a monk) his life focus was to worship God (24/7).
Why not try that this week??
We will be continuing our series this week titled,’STORIES..Everyone Has One”. This week Brittani Johnson will be sharing her story in our message. I know that God is going to speak through her and use her story to encourage many people this Sunday.
Would you also remember to pray for those people who are out on a Missions Trip?We have the privilege of partnering with them in these endeavours….
