Matthew 21:1-6 “As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethpage on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples, saying to them, ‘Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to me. If anyone says anything to you, tell him that the Lord needs them, and he will send them right away’. This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet: ‘Say to the daughter of Zion, “See your king comes to you, gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey” ‘. The disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed them.”

Isaiah 62:10,11 and Zechariah 9:9

Stay here and keep watch with me,'”

Luke 22:44 “And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.”

John 18:29 “So Pilate came out to them and asked, ‘What charges are you bringing against this man?’”

Luke 23:4 “Then Pilate announced to the chief priests and the crowd, ‘I find no basis for a charge against this man.'”

John 18:39-40 “ ‘But it is your custom for me to release to you one prisoner at the time of the Passover. Do you want me to release the king of the Jews?’ They shouted back, ‘No, not him! Give us Barabbas!”

Matthew 27:24 “When Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but that instead an uproar was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd. ‘I am innocent of this man’s blood’ he said. ‘It is your responsibility.'”

Isaiah 53:4 “Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wound s we are healed.”

1 Peter 2:24 “He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.”
