Sunday, September 5 || Alderbrook Church

Hello everyone,

Welcome to September!! I love the summer and warmer weather, but I really look forward to the fall season when the nice weather continues and there’s the anticipation of the leaves turning colours, kids heading back to school and a great cup of coffee early in the morning!!

This Sunday we have Robyn Lust leading worship at the 10am service at the CBC Chapel; it is also Communion Sunday.

We will be continuing our sermon series called “WHO ARE WE?” Is it only me that has ever thought about that question? Who are we? How do we view ourselves? How does God view us?

September 5 ~ Dealing With Deception

September 12 ~ How Should We View Sex?

September 19 ~ Am I Being Blindsided?

September 26 ~ Secret Strength

  1. Martha left it to me if we were going attend this AM – I would like too, however we are now in the 4th wave of COVID-19 and I do not see any attempt on the part of ACC to minimize the spread of this virus. We were at the ice cream place yesterday – everyone wore a mask when they entered and respected others.
Regardless of health mandates, our Lord clearly in Scripture let’s us know we essentially are our brother’s keeper, and should avoid anything that puts our brother in danger.
We know the right thing to do – why are we not guided by the love of Christ for others? I would hate to be responsible for the death of anyone that has not yet had the opportunity to know our Lord.
Even though both of us are double vaxxed, there are still antivaxers within our congregation that put themselves and their freedoms above their duty to our Lord.
