Hello everyone,
Its finally here!! …and I’m not talking about school!!
This Sunday we are “launching” with a great Kick Off on the campus of Columbia Bible College, the new home of Alderbrook Community Church.
Over the summer we have been moving, adjusting, preparing and now this Sunday we launch. Why not come a little earlier, around 9:15am and have a cup of coffee and a muffin in the courtyard outside.
We will have the jumphouses set up and ready to go. If you regularly attend Alderbrook, remember to park in one of the further lots…so that new people can find us easier. There will be a “souped up” golf cart just in case you get tired and need a ride over to the church.
The jumphouses will be open from 9:15am-10am..and then we are going to have a great time at church. Darcie Brown, Gregg Embree and the music team will leading the singing…I know its going to rock!!
It is so great to have our new Kidzone Director here…we again welcome Austin and his wife Becca to the ACC family. We are so excited and grateful that you have come to lead our Kidzone and Middle School students.
Remember parents to sign in at the Kidzone Desk …because our kids safety is a number one priority.
This Sunday we also are so excited to “launch” Andrew, Michelle, Kate and Malachi Potts as they head to Zambia to do missions work over the next three years. We will be praying for them this Sunday as they get ready to leave.
For those of us that have to stay back…we all need a reminder and a challenge as to what our mission and purpose is all about…especially in our new location.
This Sunday I have got a great “launch message” that really describes us at ACC….its called ‘Casual Atmosphere / Serious Faith’…put your seatbelts on!!
Finally, after church we are going back out to the courtyard where we will be serving up Hamburgers and Hotdogs, Face painting, Cotton candy.. the jump houses will be open, plus the Tug-O-War rope and some great music.
Why not invite someone to our Launch? That’s what its all about.
