Wasn’t it a great Sunday last week? We had to keep pulling out more and more chairs!
What an incredible “Missions emphasis” Sunday… just hearing about all the things that God is leading our church towards.
First of all, I want to give a “shout out” (remember the sermon) to Walt and Sarah and the Mexico 2015 team. The food was incredible and we raised over $3200 dollars towards the Casa De Luz project. I can hardly wait until February when the team from ACC goes to CDL. It was also exciting to hear about the other mission teams being offered in 2015. There is a trip to India (David, Shirley and their daughters), a trip to Fiji (Dave and Phyllis ) and a second trip to Casa De Luz in July (Clay and Jeannine and their boys). Would you be praying about the possibility of participating? Also, remember to pray for Kris who will be in the Philippines over the next few weeks.
This Sunday is going to be ‘dynamite’…for we are going to highlight, focus and hear from the CBC students. Alderbrook Church is so blessed to have found a home here at Columbia Bible College, and to our great surprise, we have found many college students who not only attend our church, but are also involved. This Sunday is a CBC emphasis….the whole Sunday service is going to be led by the students. I’m just going to sit back and receive from the blessing and the anointing that these students have and want to give. We are so blessed to have such quality young adults in our church. Don’t miss this Sunday.
Mark your calendars…next week we start the Christmas season at ACC. Emmanuel, God with us!
