It’s October !! Summer is officially over and the fall season is here.
I love the month of October…it’s the month that I came into this world _____ years ago !! It is also the month that Cheryl and I celebrate our wedding anniversary. I am so blessed to have married such an incredible woman who loves Jesus, me, her family and her church so much.
I also love the month of October because it’s Thanksgiving. I’m sure that we all think of turkey and pumpkin pie (which I do) …but it’s a time to be thankful for all the incredible things that God has done.
This Sunday we hope to see you at ACC as we start a brand new series called “SUIT UP”…it’s actually a series on spiritual warfare. We live in such a beautiful and safe part of Canada …but do you know that we are in a battle? The Bible tells us that we are in a war with the enemy, who is called the devil, who wants to keep us from living into the destiny and design that God has purposed for each of us. This Sunday we start by looking at the topic, “How to Fight the Right Person”.
Wasn’t it exciting to hear the awesome testimony and announcement from Vince (and his sons, Jordan and Jacob) last week who want to start Youth Alpha for their highschool friends? Sarah Siebert wants to coordinate the baking for these weekly meetings so if you are interested in helping with baking please contact Sarah (
siebertsw@gmail.com). The program runs every Tuesday night and we are expecting twelve “hungry” teenagers!! What a great way to get involved!!
Just a reminder that after church on Sunday is our AGM (Annual General Meeting). There will be a pizza lunch (by donation) right after church and then we will go into a short meeting. This is open to everyone so we hope that you will stay do hear the vision of the church and to be a part of the business. There will be child-care available. Also mark your calendars for our next Souper Sunday on October 30th. See I told you the month of October rocks at ACC !

Middle School Students
Middle School Students will be meeting after coffee 4:59 in room 204. We will be watching and discussing part 2 of the series “Day Off.” This weeks episode is about how the choices we make affect our relationship with God.
Genesis 3:8-10 says,

High School Students
High School Students will be meeting this Wednesday evening from 7-8:30pm at CBC for youth. Drop off and pick-up will be in the CBC parking lot. We will be starting a new series and discussion on “Relationships.” Come for great discussion, to connect with friends, play games and HAVE FUN!
