Hi everyone,
Did you have a great Thanksgiving? I hope that you were able to spend some time with family and friends, but most of all…take some time to be with God 9in thankfulness).
This Sunday we are pulling out all of the stops..no expense has been spared….we’re going for the top shelf. Haha..I always get so excited about Sundays!!
We are so pleased to have the CBC Travel Music Team leading the worship and music this Sunday at Alderbrook. This is a team that will travel to various churches over the school year, and we are blessed to have them come to Alderbrook. I have always felt so grateful to be at CBC ( by the president, staff, administration and maintenance) for the incredible support shown to our church.
We are so fortunate to have found a church home here at CBC. We are blessed!
This Sunday is also SOUPER SUNDAY..always a highlight and it couldn’t come at a better time. The weather is starting to change so why not stay for lunch, get to know some ACC people better and this way you don’t have to cook at home. It couldn’t be much simpler, right?
Thank you for those who are bringing food this Sunday.
Finally, we want to keep moving in our sermon series, called “Your Choice..To Live in the Front Row or the Third Row”. Its not just a series on where you sit in the roller coaster….it’s all about life and more specifically, the life that God intended you to live. This Sunday we are going to look at the story of Joseph (Genesis 37-50) and answer the question, ‘How do I sit in the front row, when I keep getting shoved to the back row’?
Its going to be a great Sunday!

ps Just a reminder that the next Cyrus Centre cooking date is Friday October 20th, 7:30pm at the Sieberts. Why not go and do some ‘local missions cooking’ for the youth of Abbotsford?
October 16 – This is our “Menno Night” of the month… guys and girls separate! Girls will be at Sarah and Jadon’s at 3730b Sandy Hill Rd, and the guys at CBC rm 109. 6:30-8:30!
