Yup, it was a scorcher earlier this week with a lot of heat in Abbotsford!! …and its back for this weekend!!
Some ‘breaking news’ for Sunday…..this Sunday we will be outside!!
It seems that CBC made a double booking and rented out the chapel (oops!!). Anyways, with the forecast being super nice for Sunday…we will prepare for an outdoor service.
Plus …we are going to have ICE CREAM right after church too.
This Sunday, Andrew Potts will be leading the worship/music. It’s always so good to get together on a Sunday and sing/proclaim the goodness of God! I know that you can easily listen to a worship song on your own electronic device…I do all the time….however, there is something significant when we come and sing praises to God together.
Remember, that when we sing on Sunday that the band isn’t playing for us, and we are singing back to the band. We have the opportunity to lift our voices to God and bring Him the honour and glory due to His name!! I’m excited for this Sunday, are you??
We also want to continue our sermon series that is titled, SPIRIT LED as we look at the role of the Holy Spirit in our daily lives. Last week we were reminded that we carry the presence of God with us wherever we go, and that we are the ‘conduit or vehicle’ that God wants to use to touch people’s lives. Would you be ‘spirit-led’ this week as you let God lead, guide and direct you?
