ACC October 21, 2018

Hi everyone,
The great weather just keeps on coming!!
I hope that you have enjoyed the beautiful sunshine and watching the tree’s as the leaves change colour.
Just remember that we will all be raking them (if you haven’t started already!!)

This Sunday Calvin Wiens, one of our CBC service practicum students will be leading the music/singing. We are so blessed to have nine (9) CBC students assisting us with the Youth, Kidzone, Music and in the office. We appreciate them so much and their invaluable input into the church.

We also want to continue our series titled, HOPE RISING. We all go through somewhat difficult and trying situations in life and often feel overwhelmed or discouraged. In fact, the enemy (the devil) would love to throw as much junk and trouble into our lives as possible and get our eyes off of Jesus. We need hope, we need faith, we need the proper perspective. This Sunday we are going to look at “Hope….When you are facing Temptation”.

Just a reminder:
If you are a member at ACC we will be having a quick Membership meeting right after church this Sunday (for a few minutes)
Also, if you are interested in the Mexico Missions Trip (February 2019) there is a meeting at the Sieberts Sunday night.

Sermon Series

This Sunday at Kidzone

This week the kids learned about temptation, and that it can come in many forms. (ask your kids about the marshmallow challenge they had! 😉 In the lesson, we discussed that Jesus also faced temptations during His time on earth, but that He resisted them. The verse that we encourage your kids to memorize for this week is  “Resist the Devil, and he will flee from you” James 4:7.
