ACC November 18

Hi everyone,
This Sunday is going to be awesome!!
Every year we send at least one team down to Casa De Luz Orphanage in Mexico, and sometimes two teams in a year.

This Sunday is the Mexico Team fundraiser lunch and Silent Auction…so that means two things, well actually three!
1. You have the opportunity tp eat a fabulous Mexican lunch (by donation)
2. You can actually do some Christmas shopping
and finally, you support missions at the same time (wow!!)

We are so  excited about the team that will be going to Mexico (Feb 10-17th 2019) under the leadership of Walt and Sarah Siebert.
Plus, next summer we are sending a second team under the leadership of Clay and Jeannine Lode.

Our Kidzone children are learning some great memory verses (thanks Cassidy and Rebecca) and our Youth with Jared are in a new Video series. Lots of exciting stuff going on!!
This Sunday I will also be finishing our series on the book of Peter titled, HOPE RISING. The last message in this series is looking at “Hope Going Forward”.

This Sunday at Kidzone

his week in Kidzone was all about the breastplate of righteousness. The lesson and story was of Abram and Sarai, and how they trusted God to fulfill His promises to them! The verse for this week is Ephesians 6:14 – “Stand firm then… with the breastplate of righteousness in place.” 
We also started filming for a Christmas video that we will be sharing on December 16. If your children weren’t in Sunday school this past week, no worries, we are also going to be filming this Sunday, as we would love to have as many kids as we can in the video! 
Lastly, we announced on Sunday that we are going to be doing a talent show this year in lieu of a Christmas play. We posted sign-up sheets and we are so excited with the interest of participation, however if your child would like to be in our talent show and didn’t get a chance to sign up, feel free to email us! {We would also love to have a couple of kids recite a Christmas poem or a couple of verses from Luke 2 🙂 } Our talent show will be on December 16, so please save the date and invite friends and family to come watch!
