GIVING

Hi everyone,
Depending on how you look at things this weekend… it’s like what Charles Dickens wrote (in 1859) in the book ‘A Tale of Two Cities’.
In this novel he described London as ‘the best of times and the worst of times”. Dickens was talking about the age of wisdom and the age of foolishness.
I’m just talking about having to turn the clock ahead by an hour!! (lol)
For some, they hate losing 60 minutes of sleep; for others it’s the longer light in the evenings that is a bonus.

Regardless, we have a great Sunday at ACC happening and we want to make sure that you arrive on time!!

We are so excited to have the MEI Worship Team that will be coming to lead the music/singing this Sunday.
I’m always so excited to see young people using their gifts and talents for Jesus.
We are also privileged to have Vijay Manuel (MEI headmaster) come to speak. Vijay is a dynamic communicator and you will be challenged by the Word of God that he will be sharing with us..

So…whether this weekend is the “best or the worst of times” in throwing your clock forward, we will see you this Sunday at Alderbrook Church.

This Sunday at Kidzone

Hi parents!
This week was the first week of our new curriculum about prayer. We are so excited to dive deeper into the Bible and walk alongside the kids a they develop a personal relationship with God! On Sunday the verse we talked about was – Philippians 4:6 – Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Lastly, since Rebecca only has a few Sundays left before she leaves for Bible School! We still have a couple of CBC students that will be with us until April, but we would love to have a few parents or grandparents help in the classroom:) Since we only have 2 classrooms, we do not need as many volunteers every week as we did in the past. If this is something you’re interested in, feel free to either reply to this email and let us know or tell us at church on Sunday.
