Hello everyone,
Spring Break has finally arrived!! I’m sure that the kids and teenagers are loving this extended break!! As the weather gets warmer and the evenings get longer it’s easy to see that Spring has arrived.
Would you continue to remember to pray for the country of Ukraine this week that God will bring protection and peace.
This Sunday Mark Lewis will be coming to lead worship at Alderbrook. It is also Missions Sunday and we will be hearing from Kris Baker as he is getting ready for his first overseas trip in over two years.
We are also finishing our sermon series titled “WHO ARE YOU?” A lot of people really struggle with who they are and who they were made to be. In fact, many are confused about who God created them to be and what he wants them to do. We will be looking at insights from God’s Word about our inner being–our soul…and find out who we really are.

Sermon Series
March 20th ~ Who Are You, Broken People in the hands of an Unbreakable God by Glenn Embree
1 Peter 1:7 (NLT) “These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold-though your faith is far more precious than mere gold.”
1. There will be _____________ when I feel ___________________________.
John 16:33 (NIV) “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
2. Our greatest ___________ to our spiritual journey is being__________________.
Genesis 8:22 (NLT) “As long as the earth remains, there will be planting and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night.”
Job 36:15 (NLT) “But by means of their suffering, he rescues those who suffer. For he gets their attention through adversity.”
Romans 8:28 (NIV) “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who are called according to his purpose.”
3. During tough times God is not ______________ but often ___________________.
2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (NIV) “…We do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
4. During times of brokenness I need to live in ______________________ and ______________.
Philippians 4:12-13 (NLT) “I know how to live on almost nothing or everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ who gives me strength.”
5. I find my ________________ as I hold onto the ___________________________.
Philippians 4:6-7 (NLT) “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”
