Hello everyone,
Christ is Risen…..He is Risen indeed!!
This Sunday we remember and celebrate Easter Sunday, probably the most significant event for us as followers of Jesus Christ.
This Sunday we will finish our sermon series titled Resurrection Life. Every day is important to us as believers, but this week is so foundational to our faith in God through what Jesus Christ did on the cross and then rose from the dead three days later.

Sermon Series
April 17th ~ Resurrection Life, A New Kind of Alive by Glenn Embree
Ephesians 1:19-20 (LB) “I pray that you will begin to understand how incredible his power is to help those who believe in him. It is that same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in heaven…”
1. Even in the midst of _______________ there is always __________________.
John 20:1-2 “Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance. So she came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one who Jesus loved, and said, ‘They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!”
2. God wants to __________________ himself in ____________________________.
John 20:3-4 “So Peter and the other disciple started for the tomb. Both were running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first.”
John 20:5-7 “He bent over and looked in at the strips of linen lying there but did not go in. Then Simon Peter, who was behind him, arrived and went into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there, as well as burial cloth that had been around Jesus’ head. The cloth was folded up by itself, separate from the linen.”
John 20:8-9 “Finally, the other disciple, who reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed. (They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead). “
3. We can make our _______________________ through ________________________.
Luke 23:50-54 “Now there was a man named Joseph, a member of the Council, a good and upright man, who had not consented to their decision and action. He came from the Judean town of Arimathea and he was waiting for the kingdom of God. Going to Pilate, he asked for Jesus’ body. Then he took it down, wrapped it in a linen cloth and placed it in a tomb cut in the rock, one in which no one had been laid. It was Preparation Day, and the Sabbath was about to begin.”
4. Our _____________________ must show acts of ______________________________.
John 19:39 “He was accompanied by Nicodemus, the man who had earlier visited Jesus at night. Nicodemus brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about seventy-five pounds.”
5. Our __________________________ is not just _________________________________.
John 20:17-18 “Jesus said, “Do not hold onto me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God!’. Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: ‘I have seen the Lord!’ And she told them that he had said these things to her.”
6. The __________________________ of our lives can become ______________________.
John 20:21 “Again Jesus said, ‘Peace be with you!’ As the Father has sent me, I am sending you. And with that he breathed on them and said, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit.'”
