Hello everyone,
The great summer weather just keeps on coming!! The reality is that it’s only a week until school starts.
This is the last 12 Days of Summer Sundays; great food, connecting together, music & worship, and inspiring messages to grow our faith!! This Sunday is PIZZA SUNDAY (by donation). No preparation, no mess, no cleanup!! We are also finishing our summer series on the book of Philippians titled, “How to Enjoy Life”. This Sunday, we look at ‘Reversing our Anxiety and Stress’.
We want to remind you that on Sunday, August 31st, we don’t have access to the CBC Chapel, so we are inviting you to participate in “Guess Who’s Coming to Brunch”. Sign up at accparticipate@gmail.com and we will send you the ‘mystery location’ of someone’s home from ACC, where there will be Sunday Brunch (coffee, muffins, fruit, etc).
Throughout August in Kidzone, we are going to be working our way through an eight-week-long series titled “Challenge Accepted”. These lessons capture some family-friendly fun to teach kids about following Jesus through game-based lessons that point them back to the ultimate challenge: deciding to follow Jesus and live a life devoted to God. We will be looking at stories such as the Battle of Jericho, Moses and the 10 Commandments, and Esther, so that the kids will learn to be able to trust and follow God.
