Hello everyone,
Happy Thanksgiving! We have so much to be thankful for, and we hope that you take some time this weekend to thank God for all His provisions.
Teresa, one of our CBC students, and the team will lead the music/singing and worship. The coffee will be on, and we have great Kidzone classes with Madeline and Youth events featuring our new Youth Director, Grant Brittain, and Katie, another of our CBC students. Also, it is exciting to start our college group under the leadership of Brendan Hamm.
It’s also Pastor Glenn and Cheryl’s 40th wedding anniversary (they got married at 9 years old!!)
This Sunday, as we celebrate Thanksgiving, we will all gather around the table, either large or small. Likewise, Jesus, just before he went to the cross, invited his disciples to the table, a place where he broke bread and ate with them and told them of his incredible love and the sacrifice he was about to make. We will also be incorporating communion into the message this Sunday as we invite people to “Come to the Table”.

This Sunday in Kidzone, we will be continuing our series called Back to School, and we’ll be learning about how God helps and empowers us to overcome challenges that we might face at school in the same way that he empowered David to defeat Goliath.
