Hello everyone ,
As many of you get ready to head to church at ACC this Sunday, our Mexico Missions team will be in the air heading down to Casa De Luz to prepare for a week of outreach and ministry. Wasn’t it a great Sunday last week? A number of people commented on what a great Sunday it was ….praying for the 25 people going to Mexico, the Mission interviews with the Rathjens and Graham /Elijah Ward, the six people that came into church membership and the great time of music and singing. Oh yeah , wasn’t the Mexican lunch awesome??
I want to thank Kris and Paulette Baker for hosting the Super Bowl party on Sunday afternoon. It was so good to hang out and eat together…we do a lot of that at Alderbrook don’t we? That reminds me to challenge you to be a part of a Lifegroup at Alderbrook. I believe that everyone needs to be a part of a small community of believers throughout the week for prayer, support and encouragement. Why not look at the various Lifegroups that are listed in the bulletin and plan to be a part of one…you will be pleasantly surprised.
This Sunday I am so excited to have my bride, Cheryl speak at Alderbrook. You will not want to miss this Sunday! Cheryl has so much prayerful and thoughtful insight from Gods Word to share. I know that you will be drawn into the presence of God in a special way. As she prepares and listens to God, will you do the same thing? Could you imagine what would happen if you prepared your heart ( prior to Sunday ) and got ready to receive from God. I believe that it would be the most phenomenal and significant Sunday in your life…..because God is faithful and He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.
Again, thank you for standing in prayer as we arrive in Mexico this afternoon. We partner together for the glory of God.

We are continuing to teach the different choices that shape a kid’s life. This week the kids will be learning about the choice to tell other about Jesus. We should all make the choice to tell our friends about Jesus. It could end up changing someones life.
Each Sunday the children at Kidzone have the opportunity to generously give their change to help people in need. All the Kidzone offering will be going towards the The Kibaale Project. The children have the opportunity to bless other children in Kibaale with items that they need.
