Hi everyone,
We hope that you enjoyed the long weekend and if you were travelling, we are glad that you arrived back home.
Cheryl and I are away this Sunday. Nathan our son-in-law is going to be baptized in water at their church in Vancouver.
In past years I would have just sent Cheryl, but as I get older (and hopefully wiser) I realize that I shouldn`t miss these significant family events.
We have an exciting Sunday planned…. Kris Baker will be speaking and bringing the word of God. Kris is getting ready to return to the Philippines on Monday and I know that he will be bringing a rich, anointed message. You will not want to miss out! Andrew Potts and the team will be leading the music, Cassidy will be leading the Kidzone classes, plus the coffee and bagels will be out and ready
Jared, Ty and the youth will be at History Makers! Please be praying that each one has a significant encounter with God this weekend.
On another family note: Cheryl and I are going to become grandparents!! Yes, I know we are much too young (lol !!)
Our daughter Cynthia and her husband Nathan are expecting and baby will be arriving in November…. we are so thrilled to enter this new chapter of our lives!!

Membership Class – Our next member ship class will be on Tuesday, May 28th at 7pm. If you are interesting, fill out a connection card and place it in the offering.
Baby Shower – On Sunday June 2nd, we will be having a baby shower for Erin at 1pm, a luncheon at the Embree’s. For more information, please see Cheryl, Maria, or Kate. All ladies are welcome!
Water Baptism – Our next baptism service is scheduled for June 2nd. If you’re interested in being baptized in water, fill out a connection card and place it in the offering.
Sundays at Kidzone
This week’s focus was continuing on the Lord’s Prayer. The verse is “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts as we also have forgiven our debtors.” Matthew 6:9-12b. This week’s specific focus was about forgiveness. They learned that no matter how big the sin is, Jesus has forgiven all of us and so we must live out his example and forgive others.
