Wasn’t the weather great this week? It’s time for summer!!
This weekend is the long weekend, but we always keep things going at ACC….we hope to see you at church.
This Sunday, Gregg and the team will be leading our music, singing and worship. I am always so thrilled to participate weekly in worship with everyone at the church. I listen to a lot of music throughout the week…but there’s just something special about joining together in worship and praise to God together. In fact, why not look through the Bible this week and see the numerous references to ‘ singing together’ or ‘ joining in worship ‘….you will see it all throughout the Bible as God loves to hear his people proclaim worship and praise.
This Sunday we also continue our series called Bless This House. We all want our homes and families to work right, don’t we? Yet, so often we struggle with the relationships that are the closest and most important to us. This Sunday we want to look at the topic of ‘ Project Parenthood’….what does it look like to parent
(according to the Bible). Someone from the church mentioned last week that this series wasn’t for them because their kids had all grown up. On the contrary! I believe that I will ‘ parent’ not only my kids…but also lend a helping hand (when asked) to any children. In our North American culture we have slimmed down the parenting and mentoring model too slim…..in fact, we are also going to look at how ACC can assist with the raising of children too.
Lastly, it’s long weekend….and that means Ice Cream Sundaes after church…..I can hardly wait!!
See you on Sunday.

*Kidszone
In Kidzone we are in a series all about finding Jesus in the stories of Moses. This Sunday the kids will learn about ultimate help and how God always wants to help us. God showed Moses that He has power to do the impossible. Jesus can use His power to help us! “His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him.” 2 Peter 1:3
Let’s pray this week that our kids will look to God to for help.
