Hi everyone,
I hope that you had a great week.
Over the past two weeks we have introduced two new babies to Alderbrook Church…I wonder who it’s going to be this Sunday?
Just kidding!! However, as exciting as ‘ human babies’ are….and I get excited about introducing them…would you be praying with me that we would also get to introduce and see ‘ spiritual babies’ at our church too. The exciting thing about spiritual babies, or new believes is that they can come in any age, shape or size. There is nothing greater in my heart’s desire than to introduce new followers of Jesus Christ.
This Sunday Gregg and the team will be leading us in singing and in worship. Wasn’t last week incredible? I didn’t want them to stop for the presence of God was so evident and I was so encouraged to hear he church proclaiming those incredible truths through music. Let’s do it again this Sunday okay?
Speaking of this Sunday, I want to continue our series called ‘ Bless This House’ with a message that is titled, Parenting Beyond Our Capacity’… Which is a great reminder for people like me ….’ cause I know my limitations!! I am so glad that God, in His mercy wants to come and help and assist us in raising our children and families. God is not just interested at what takes place at ACC on Sunday mornings, but he wants to be at the centre of your home and family too. He wants to bless your house.
Finally, remember that Sunday evening is our annual meeting starting at 6:30pm. Great desserts provided by Jenn Bergen and there will be child care and outlet youth available on the CBC campus. Everyone is welcome!!
See you this Sunday

*Kidzone
In Kidzone we are finding Jesus in the stories of Moses. This Sunday the kids will learn about ultimate obedience and how we can always obey God even when it is hard. Moses obeyed God , even when it was difficult. We can follow Jesus and obey God just like Moses did. “We must obey God rather than men!” Acts 5:29
