Hi everyone,
If there has been a constant theme over the last three weeks at ACC..it would have to be food!!
We started off with Souper Sunday a few weeks ago, then we had a delicious meal honoring all of our ministry leaders….and finished up with Ice Cream Sundaes for Fathers Day last week.
What could we have this week?
Well, for starters the coffee and bagels will be on…so make sure you come early to get some food and take some time to connect with the ACC family.
This Sunday Gregg and the team will be leading. I have so appreciated the musicians and the way that they have been leading us into the presence of God lately. Its also exciting to see the youth that are getting involved and taking their place on the worship teams…there’s nothing better than engaging our youth in leading our church in worship.
This Sunday is also Missions Sunday. We have such an excitement around missions…I am constantly amazed at what God is doing through people’s lives. Will you continue to partner in prayer with the Bakers (Kris is in Sri Lanka), the Kotyks, the McLaurens, the Potts and the Rathjens? We are so blessed as a church to be able to partner and reach out in these various ways. This Sunday we will be receiving a second offering for Missions.
This Sunday I start a brand new series…it’s kinda light and relaxed..(not!!) Our next series is called “The Last Days..Are We There Yet? ” This series isn’t designed to scare, overwhelm or generally freak people out. We want to look at what is happening in our world today and see what the Bible says. In fact, Jesus strongest encouragement to the Church in talking about the end times…was to ‘be ready and be prepared’. Come find out about some of the signs of the times and the events that take place before Jesus Christ returns.
Maranatha (Jesus is coming)
