Hi everyone,

The great weather just keeps coming!!

I hope you are having a great time this summer enjoying the weather and taking life at a slower pace.

I love the early mornings and the late nights when the weather is so favourable …they are my favorite times of summer.

This Sunday at Alderbrook Gregg and the team will be leading the music, singing and worship. I appreciate all the musicians, sound guys, media team that have shown so much commitment over the summer months. Thank you for your dedication to the church and to the Lord…..we appreciate you!!

We are also having a baby dedication this Sunday…Joel and Hanna Soeten are bringing little Addison to be prayed for this Sunday. Do you know that last week Joel and Hanna, along with Ellianna and Addison, hiked up to Lindeman Lake with the ACC youth? This family is awesome and we are excited to pray Gods blessing over Addison.

This Sunday we also want to show the pics from our ACC picnic. We had such a fun time at the Bergens. It’s always so great just to hang out together….

I want to start a brand new series to end off the summer, called REFRESH…isn’t that appropriate? During the warm weather of the summer we often look to the shade of a tree, a cool glass of lemonade or some fortunate air conditioning to find relief from the heat. God wants us to remember that He can provide times of ‘ refreshing’…and this series, from the book of Psalms will remind us how to find those special ( and much needed) times of refreshment. This Sunday we are going to start with Psalm 23… Learning how to find contentment.
