This Sunday is Easter!!
I trust that sometime during this week thatyou are able to take some time and reflect on the incredible events that took place during Jesus’ last week on earth leading up to the resurrection. Why not grab your Bible, put on a worship song or go for a long walk and just take some time to remember what Jesus did for you as he went to the cross! It is such a meaningful and significant week for those who follow Jesus Christ.
This Sunday at Alderbrook is going to be awesome!! The kids will be sharing the Easter story, along with great music and worship, plus we want to hear from the Fiji Team that just got back to Abbotsford this week. I will be bringing an Easter message that is titled, “What Are You Looking For At Easter?” Do you know that if you don’t look for anything at Easter (or anytime for that matter) that you probably won’t find anything? However, if you do look for the real meaning and significance of Easter…watch out!! You will find it!!
On another note, this Sunday we will be serving up Cinnamon Buns with coffee…bagels are great but this Sunday is special!! We will also be having a Chocolate Egg Hunt for the kids (and the pastor!!) right after church. Why not invite someone…”who is looking for something”…to church this Easter Sunday.

Happy Easter! This Sunday our kids have and Easter presentation for us. You won’t want to miss it! There will also be a Chocolate egg hunt after the service for all the kids! Why not invite a family you know to join in the fun.
