I trusty that you enjoyed Canada Day this past week?
Isn’t it great that we live in such an incredible country that has so many benefits, opportunities and freedom.
Let’s never take this for granted, but instead thank God for blessing us here in Canada.
I heard that it was an incredible Outdoor Service at Alderbrook last Sunday…complete with water balloons, water fights and lots of pizza!!
Seriously, I believe it was a wonderful time to gather as a church family outside on a beautiful campus…and to worship, sing and hear from God together.
I want to thank everyone who participated with the service as well as the team that helped with set up and tear down. As long as the great weather continues, I think that will try another Outdoor Service in August. Good idea?
This Sunday Gregg will be leading our singing/worship with the music team. I have also asked David Rathjen to speak this Sunday. You will not want to miss this Sunday. Every time I hear Dave’s messages I am so inspired by his passion and love for God and for people. We will also be having communion together…so make sure that you come with a heart that is ready to receive from God.
Lastly, our Vacation Bible School starts on Monday ( we are partnering with Abbotsford Pentecostal Assembly) and if you haven’t registered your kids yet, please talk with Pastor Austin or Becky Searles, our summer intern. It is going to be a great week of exciting, action-packed adventure. Why not see if any of the kids in your neighbourhood want to attend.
