We want to prolong the summer!! Good idea??
That’s right…the great summer weather just keeps on coming, so this Sunday we are taking church outside onto the beautiful CBC campus.
This Sunday at ACC, church starts at 10am under the big tree’s just outside the chapel…Gregg will be leading an ‘unplugged’ set of worship songs. There is something special about having church outside and singing together. I always love it!
The coffee and bagels will be on and I want to start a brand new sermon series called “PRAY”. This Sunday we begin with a very foundational message that I’ve titled, “What is God Really Like?” Do you realize that your perception of God (right or wrong) will affect how you pray to God. We want to look at what the Bible has to say about who God really is and what He is like…so that it transforms our prayer and communication to God.
Right after church we are going to “picnic” together…so either bring a picnic lunch from home or run over to Subway or McDonalds….and lets have lunch together.
The summer keeps getting better…we hope to see you at Alderbrook this Sunday.

**New Sermon Series: PRAY**
Prayers aren’t empty words hurled into the sky. They’re conversations-in fact, they are the most important conversations of our lives.
Do we fully realize who we are having a conversation with? What happens if we feel that our conversation isn’t being heard? Does God speak back to us?
As we pray, what is supposed to happen? This series is all about our conversations with God and learning how to discern what He says.
This Sunday’s daily mission is ’say good words’. Remembering our love for Jesus helps us talk to others in ways that show His love to them! “By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:35
