ACC @ CBC November 15, 2015

Hi everyone,

We had a such an awesome Sunday last week didn’t we?
Let me just say a huge thank you to the Worship Band from TWU, to Chris Ryan for sharing and also to the awesome Mexico Team that put on such an incredible meal, video and Silent Auction.
In the end, over $4000 was raised for the outreach trip and more continues to come in…thank you ACC for your generous support.

This Sunday we are excited to have Becky, Jessie and some of the CBC students lead us in music and worship. Isn’t this so neat to have the college students at our church? We are so blessed and we have given such a great responsibility/opportunity to come alongside them and their faith walk. May we be the greatest encouragers (and fans of the college age students) and keep calling them higher and further in their walk with God.

This Sunday I am continuing our series called FIGHT…if you remember its all about winning the battles that matter the most in life. This Sunday we are going to deal with a very sensitive, yet important topic and that is the issue of “sex”.
It seems that today there are very few morals and not many guardrails when it comes to sex. In fact, why not turn on the TV on any given evening and see what our world thinks about sex. This Sunday we are going to look into God’s word and see what He says about this topic. Let me give you a hint. God created our bodies and it is God that gave us our sex drive. However, because it is such a special gift He wants to keep it that way. This sermon is for every person: young, older, married, single, male and female. God wants us to fight to protect a wonderful gift that he has given to each one of us…. it’s all a part of His special plan and purpose for our lives.
