It was ‘back to school’ for all of the kids, youth and college students.
I bet that none of them would ever think that they would be heading back to classes in the midst of all of the smoke from the forest fires!?!
We are so glad that everyone is back from summer holidays and vacations and getting ready for the fall season. Have you had your pumpkin spice latte at Starbucks yet?
This Sunday at Alderbrook, everything is up and running again …did you like the new Kidzone look at the check-in? Thanks Allie for the incredible display as the children check in for Kidzone…. it’s like going into Disneyland!!
We also want to start a brand new series this Sunday called “Church Hunters”. Have you ever watched the show ‘Home Hunters?” It’s kinda the same thing, but with a spiritual twist to it. Often people look for a church based on what suits them the best or what makes them comfortable. Now. I would agree that there are different types of churches that have varied (and wonderful) types of expression. But what about these questions: Ever wonder why people need to go to church? What’s supposed to happen at church? Why are there so many different churches in Abbotsford? Join us this Sunday as we look at this very interesting sermon series…Church Hunters (Pt 1 The Church is PEOPLE..not a PLACE).
