Hi everyone,(or should I say Hola, pronounced ‘Ola”)
We have been down in Rosarita, Mexico over this past week working with Casa De Luz and their children’s ministry and outreach.
It has been such a rewarding and exiting week of ministry. I wish all of you could experience this ministry. I am so proud of the team from ACC and the hard work and prayerful ministry they have done.
First of all, thank you for praying for the Mexico Team and the ministry down here at Casa De Luz. We’ve been busy this week as the team has been working with the children, constructing another building as well as doing outreach into the community. We have felt the prayer support from Alderbrook and we are so thankful for your support. We look forward to sharing all the incredible things that God has been doing when we get back.
This Sunday, we are pleased to have a close friend of mine, Emil Fernandes come and share God’s word at ACC, In fact, some of you will remember that Emil was on staff at Alderbrook for a few years when our church rented space at Centre Ice. Emil and Wendy are phenomenal people and not only love Jesus, but love people. You will be inspired as Emil shares this weekend at ACC.
Again, thank you for praying for the Mexico Team. We miss you and can hardly wait to be back.

Feb 18 – Combined Youth Night! Going to be starting the Alpha Youth series, which is very exciting 🙂 We are looking forward to having fun and learning more about Jesus. Meeting at CBC, 6:30-8:30pm.
Feb 24 – Lazer Tag! We are trying this again, heading out on the 24th (Saturday) to Planet Lazer in Langley. Meeting at CBC at 6:00, pickup at CBC at 8:30pm! Going to be a blast, $15 per person (2 games included)
Feb 25 – Middle School Youth! During the service, Grades 6-8. Continuing the series The Bee Squad!
April 1 – Baptism opportunity. If you or a youth are looking to make a commitment to Jesus, Alderbrook is having a baptism April 1st. Talk to Jadon or Glenn for more info!
