Summer just keeps on coming!! Hasn’t the weather been awesome this week? We were so blessed last Sunday for our Fall Kick-Off, Souper Sunday, Carnival Day with awesome weather. We also want to thank everyone who participated in making this such a great event…..you are awesome. Thank you!!
This Sunday it is great to have Justin Irwin (Summit Pacific College) back leading us in music/worship. We appreciate all our musicians, sound and media techs in making this part of “church” happen each Sunday. We love the music and appreciate your “hearts” so much.
This is a special Sunday because we get to feature two of the ‘youngest guys ‘ at Alderbrook. Wayne and Mandy want the church to pray over their son, Levi…and Joel and Hanna desire this for their son Ezekiel too. These are handsome young guys with tons of personality. At ACC we don’t baptize infants, we pray over them and their parents. When Jesus was a boy, his parents brought him to the temple (church) and he was prayed over…it’s going to be a great moment this Sunday as we pray for these families.
We will be continuing our sermon series, FAITH..NOW WHAT ? …with the third part that is titled, Faith During Tough Times. I’m sure that each one of us needs reminding that when life gets busy, crazy, out of control and just plain bizzare…that God wants to give us the strength and the faith to move through that adversity. Its going to be a great Sunday, we hope to see you at ACC this Sunday.

Many people talk about having faith in God…but what does that mean and what does it look like? The Bible says in 2 Peter 1:5 to “make every effort to add to our faith”. What are we supposed to add? What does this mean? Join us for our Fall series …”Faith..Now What?
