Hello everyone,
Wow…where did February go? I know it’s a shorter month and all…but it just seemed like yesterday that I was with the Mexico team…then the snow hit…and here we are in March!!
Go figure huh??
Well, its not only the first Sunday in March, but this Sunday at Alderbrook is Souper Sunday!! Yaaayyy!!
Right after church you are invited to stay and enjoy all of the hot dishes, buns, soups and desserts as we take some time to gather as a family of believers. This is always one of the highlights of all the things we do together…so I hope that you can make it to church this Sunday….its going to be awesome. Come out and meet someone new.
Speaking of awesome, wasn’t it neat to hear the stories from the Mexico Team? I was deeply impacted by the words and testimonies that came from the team…especially the children and the youth that went to Mexico. I also want to thank Gregg and the worship team for leading us in worship, music and singing last Sunday. During a few of the songs it was so neat just to experience and sense the presence of God …..I am praying that the same thing happens again this Sunday.
I am excited to start a brand new preaching series this Sunday called, “There’s An App For That”. People love apps. In fact, there seems to be an app for almost everything. Do you know that over the past few years, over 1 million apps have been developed. I know that some of you have that many on your phone!! This Sunday we want to look at what the Bible says about growing closer to God…there might just be an app for that!!
