I hope that you had a great week. We look forward to seeing you at church this Sunday.
Its Missions Sunday at ACC and there is one thing for certain, I believe that our church has really caught the vision and heart for doing God’s mission, not only here in Abbotsford, but literally around the world. It is so exciting!!
First of all, let me just mention our ACC missionaries. I hope that you regularly pray for them, encourage them…(thank you for your financial support to them). They are a gift to the church and we honor the great calling of God that is on their lives. Here they are…Sheldon/Julie Kotyk, Kris/Paulette Baker, Dave/Phyllis Rathjen, Dave/Shirley McLauren and Andrew/Michelle Potts.
We have some exciting mission trips planned this year to Mexico (Feb and July), Fiji (March), India (March). You can read about them in the bulletin or online on our website. We will be receiving a second offering for missions this Sunday.
I also want to thank Walt and Sarah Siebert for leading a team of 26 people to Mexico in just a few weeks. The Sieberts also are the hosts for the Cyrus Centre (Abbotsford) cooking that happens once a month. Speaking of Abbotsford, it was so exciting to hear about some of the young adults that collected over 60 Christmas gifts, wrapped them up and then hauled a tree down to the homeless camp early on Christmas morning. Thank you to those who donated gifts!!
Lets continue to push the envelope and see where God can use us.
This Sunday we continue our series, titled “The New Rules of Resolution` with a message that reminds us that God is our security. There have been some crazy and very tragic things happening in our world over the last few weeks. At any time it looks like things could spin out of control. Maybe you are feeling that way in your life today…this Sunday we hope that find your security in no one but Jesus!
See you Sunday

*Sermon: The New Rules of Resolution
This Sunday, Jesus is in Nazareth and we see that we need to thank Jesus for who He is and what He come to do! “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
