Hi everyone,
In our church there are morning people….and then there are nighthawks!! But when it comes to losing an hour of sleep I’m sure that both groups of people don’t get too excited. Just a reminder to make sure that you ‘throw the clock’ ahead one hour this Saturday night. If there is any consolation…think of the longer evenings that we have coming!!
Last Sunday we had the privilege of praying and supporting the Fiji Team (Dave and Phyllis Rathjen, Levi Geisbrecht, along with Levi’s dad and brother) as they have now headed off on their missions trip. Would you remember to pray that God will keep them safe, strengthened and anointed for great service during their time away. I am so excited for the church that is getting built and I am believing for many people that will find Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior!!
This Sunday…we get to do it all over again!! We will be praying for the India Team (Dave and Shirley McLauren, Samantha, Michelle and Kris Baker)and sending them off on their missions trip this week. We will be hearing from the India team and also be given an opportunity to financially help as the team will be doing a Bake Sale (samosa’s included!!) to help with their trip costs. We also have one more missions trip this year scheduled for the summer that Clay and Jeannine Lode are leading to Casa De Luz in Mexico.
We are excited to have Cal and Chrissy Krahn back with us leading the music and worship. …they have such a gift for directing our church towards the presence of God.
I will be continuing the series that we started last week, titled, “Who Is My Neighbour?” This Sunday we are going to look at what does it mean to… “Do Life In The Neighborhood”. My prayer is that God will give us a new and different view of our neighborhood….not just where we live but also where we come to church, here at CBC.
Again, throw the clock ahead really early on Saturday night..that way it won’t hurt as much.
In fact, why not come at 9:45am on Sunday for a few minutes of prayer before church.
See you on Sunday,
Pastor Glenn and Cheryl

This Sunday, Jesus is in Caesarea Philippi and we see that believing in Jesus is the only way to salvation! “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”ROMANS 10:9
