ACC January 20, 2019

Hello everyone,

I’m sure that this past week everyone felt like we are right in the middle of Spring?
I’m not holding my breath but hopefully we have dodged any chance of winter snow…I love our west coast!!

This Sunday, Calvin Wiens, one of our CBC service prac students will be leading the music/singing. This is always a highlight in my week as we gather together to worship God as a faith community…it’s all about gaining the right perspective: Loving God with all of our heart, mind and strength!!

We want to continue our sermon series titled, STORIES as various people share their life and faith stories. Everyone has a story. There are good parts, some bad parts, some mediocre or everyday parts as well as, some parts ‘that no one else would believe’. Thank you Nicole Hamm for sharing your faith story last week.
This Sunday we are going to look at the topic of ‘What Happens When Your Story Takes a Turn’ and I get to interview my bride, Cheryl. You won’t want to miss!

This Sunday at Kidzone

Hello parents!

This week in Kidzone was all about the helmet of salvation, and that our thoughts can either draw us closer to God, or lead us away from Him. This week’s verse is super easy – Ephesians 6:17a – “Take up the helmet of salvation…” 
We are also introducing a new memory verse system for 2019! For every verse the kids memorize, they will receive a “Bible Buck.” With the Bible Bucks they collect they will be able to “purchase” a candy or toy depending on how many Bible Bucks they have saved! We are so excited to see where God leads our Kidzone in 2019!
