FullSizeRenderWe had some awesome weather this week didn’t we?
It was so exciting last Sunday to see people get baptized in water. We are so thrilled when people want to grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
We were also blessed to have the band from Trinity Western University…it was a great service.

This Sunday, Justin Irwin and the team will be leading us in singing/worship. We will also be interviewing the students that have been participating in the Youth Alpha program. I have appreciated the leadership that Joel and Hanna Soeten have been giving to our Middle School and HighschooI students…they are doing such an awesome job. I also want to give a “shout-out” to Brad and Maria Hutchison, who have graciously opened their home to the Youth Alpha and prepare the supper each week that they meet. I am so thankful for the Soetens and the Hutchisons and their input into our youth program!! I believe that this course has been very foundational for many of our students…it gives them a solid platform to really know what they believe about Jesus Christ. I am looking forward to hearing these interviews/testimony’s on Sunday.

We will also be continuing our series titled YES NO…two of the smallest words in our language , but probably the most powerful and effective. If you don’t believe me just ask any mother who has toddlers!!
When it comes to our faith and our relationship with Jesus, these two words also have great significance and meaning. This Sunday we are going to look at the 2nd message in the series, titles, “Yes, No or Maybe?”
It’s going to be a great Sunday,

See you at church on Sunday,
Pastor Glenn and Cheryl

Parents be sure to mark your calendars for Friday May 6th! Drop your kids off at the church at 6pm, pick them up at 9pm! We’ll have an evening full of games, a craft, snack and even a movie. We hope this will create an opportunity for parents to have a “night off” if such a thing exists. Maybe go on a date!
On a completely unrelated note to Kidzone. One of the things I love to do on my time off is volunteer with the Canadian Mental Health Association. I am fundraising for them by running Vancouver’s BMO marathon May 1st. If you are interested in making a donation or just want to know more please talk to Allie.
